Wire surface activation before electrogalvanization

Q. Dears,
I would like to ask what do you use for the steel wire surface activation before electrogalvanization process? after pickling in HCl we use a short bath of H2SO4 for the surace activation before the electrogalvanization process. The activation is made without electricity. I heard that with the higher concentration of H2SO4, higher temperature and with the two electrodes immersed in the sulfuric acid solution connected to the rectifier, the process of activation is much better. Do you have any good advise for me?

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
