Ted-Ed and Khan Academy -- a chance to exchange knowledge

Q. With the development of TED.ed and the Khan academy on the internet we finally have an opportunity to freely exchange our knowledge and experience to the world.
What a privilege we share.
I have no doubt that traditional academia will shun this opportunity.
I also have no doubt that those employed in Metal Finishing throughout the world will benefit from knowledges imparted to them particularly regarding environmental & health hazards they may not have been alerted to.
