Lacquering over a non-electrolytic brass coating
March 29, 2012
Q. Hello,
I have a question about brass coating. I make a coating of brass oxide and gun metal oxide with nonelectrolytic coating method. Despite lacquering and drying, after coating the brass parts are bleeding, and if parts touch linen or cloth, it makes them dirty. I think the problem is in my lacquer but I can't find a better one. Do you have any advice for how I can fix this problem?
Thank you
