Cost of chrome plating chemicals per area per thickness on plastic

Q. What is the guideline cost of the chrome plating chemicals needed per unit area of hard plastic e.g acrylic per thickness coating ? I am considering opening a factory making 10 000 square meters of plastic mirrors a month to compete in the glass mirrors market.

Hi, Jerry,

Please describe the exact technology you are contemplating, as I doubt that you would really do electroless plating followed by nickel-chrome plating onto acrylic, or that it could compete price-wise with glass mirrors. Thanks.
