-----Best way to blacken newly etched framing squares
February 21, 2012
Q. We have come to market with a new framing square and I would like to continue to look for the best possible way to blacken the etched increments and tables on the square that will be the most durable and look the nicest? Suggestions on a finish (not a coating) for the 304 SS (to reduce glare, etc.) would be appreciated as well.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
