Instrumentation to measure tin plate surface finish texture/roughness

Q. Being a malleable material, "contact" (stylus) type perthometer cannot be used, requiring a "non-contact" (capacitive) type. Mahr-Federal discontinued this module and other manufacturer is not available.

Our finish requirement is =/< 300 EDM.

Anyone aware of other instrumentation available ?

Please advise.
