White lines after Hardcoat Anodizing

Q. I'm working on an issue where there are uniform white lines around the entire part after hardcoat anodizing. My original thought was its more than likely related to the machining process, but I'm not sure. Has anyone been involved with this type of issue?

Please come back with the alloy, whether heat treated, ramp time, thickness, free acid, dissolved aluminum, how racked.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
