HAE magnesium anodizing bath needs to rest for success

October 31, 2011

Hello Srs,

I'm having a problem with the magnesium anodize (HAE), after using the tank all day long we start having problems to anodize parts, we achieve the amperage but the voltage its too low, the normal voltage its 50-70 volts, and when the problem appears it 20-35 volts, then the tanks rest for a shift or two and it work nice again. The maximum temperature its 90 F, the chemical analysis look good, what else can be the problem?

regards
