-----Restoring chrome look to oxidized chrome
Hello, my name is Jerry. How would you go about restoring a chrome look to oxidized chrome which has a dull alloy look to it?

Chrome doesn't oxidize under ordinary circumstances. You may have something which is nickel plated, or was nickel/chrome and the chrome has worn away, or was never chrome plated in the first place. Try any metal polish from a car parts store. If that doesn't work, you'll need to have it replated.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
