How do you oxidize titanium?

I was wondering how to oxidize titanium because I am doing a project to be able to determine titanium and I want to use this reason.

Hi, Samantha.

One way is to anodize it. Look up "anodize titanium" on this site and you'll learn a lot about it. It's pretty east to do. Good luck.
