Is Aluminium fire bowl dangerous?

Recently used a large old aluminium bakers mixing bowl as an outdoor fire container. Built up enough heat to make parts of the bowl glow red. Was wondering if using this device posed any health risks, fume wise, etc.

Hi, Jeff

People frequently melt their aluminum beer cans in the camp fire, so I'm not sure your fire bowl will survive a really hot fire. The melting point of aluminum is 1220 °F. but the boiling point is 4566 °F so I doubt that you are vaporizing any aluminum.
