Gas nitriding with post oxidizing

Q. Dear readers,
I know the nitrocarburizing with post oxidizing process. But I want to know is there any available post oxidizing process that follows with gas nitriding?

A. Dear Behzad Babaie,
I don't think any difference will happen on Gas Nitriding or Nitrocarburizing, as per my understanding both are same process.
Even, now we have lot of processes for the nitrocarburizing or Gas Nitriding with post Oxidation.
If, you are able to achieve the requirement in Nitrocarburizing with post oxidation, you can achieve the same in Gas Nitriding with post oxidation.
Maybe carbonitriding will respond in a different way, but not Nitrocarburizing.

Q. What is the process of oxidizing. I know this process is used after Nitriding. Please anyone have an answer?
