Best plating so fasteners won't be overtorqued
August 22, 2011
We are having a problem with an M6 fastener (Socket head Cap Screw) getting over torqued. We call out a torque spec, but consumers do not follow. Is there a plating thickness (Yellow Zinc, etc), that can add a small amount of friction to lessen our problem?
thanks,
Bobby
