Protecting camo wrap from ripping when snagged

Hello all, I have a 16 ft aluminum boat for duck hunting. I recently put a new camo wrap over the entire outside of the boat. The first time I pulled the boat back on my trailer it ripped some of the camo wrap. Is their any substance I could apply over the wrap to help protect against this? Maybe some form of lacquer?

Hi, Brad.

I'm not familiar with what you are using but it sounds more like camo stretch-wrap than camo tape. If so, getting adhesive between the boat and the wrap sounds like it will achieve more than will be achieved by something on top of the camo.
