Baked Copper Nickel rusted in 3 days

Hi,

After finishing baked copper nickel, it can be rusty or not? Because 3 days after plating it came out with many black dots & rusty. What causes this problem?

Seems like a problem caused by initial porosity, improper pre-plate cycle, too thin plating or a combination of all this.
