Will teflon tape react with hot crude oil?

I have a project about de-asphalting of crude oil; during my experimental work, I surprisingly observed that stretch like teflon tape is precipitated with asphaltene, that could dissolve only in boiling toluene, my temperature during the experiment is near 160° C. I used some teflon tape in my set up.
now, I want to know, what react, dissolve,,,teflon tape?
