Hardcoat Anodizing of series 20xx Aluminium

HI!
We are Anodizers of aluminium . We are able to perform hard anodizing on 60** series of aluminium but we are not able to anodize 2024&2014 aluminium alloys.

We want to
1) Hard anodize 2014/2024aluminium alloys . coating raning from 45 - 60 microns.
2) We want to black anodize 2014/2024 aluminium alloys . Coating ranging from 15-25 microns.

Please suggest us the process and methodology.

Hi, Anand.

It is not a surprise that you are having difficulty hardcoating 20xx aluminum. Please search the site for "hardcoat 2024" and you will see many previous discussions on the subject. Good luck.
