Plating Steel with Tungsten
I'm requesting information regarding electroplating steel with tungsten, that is putting a plate of tungsten on a steel bushing, for example, to reduce chemical breakdown. Thanks!

Hi Matthew
There is no conventional electroplating process to deposit tungsten (or steel)
Tungsten is normally used for its extreme hardness. It is not particularly chemically resistant.
If you give us some idea of the operating environment we may be able to suggest an alternative.

There may be alternative ways of putting the coat of tungsten you want on your parts but not plating. Search for Physical and Chemical Vapor Deposition or Electro Spark Deposition (PVD, CVD and ESD),
Good luck,
