A. Typically, no, an epoxy paint would not be considered food grade. An acrylic would be your best bet; however, you would have to check with the manufacturer to be sure that the specific acrylic is FDA (for example) approved.

Q. I would like to know, for a silo and bin activator processed from Mild steel I.S. 2062 std. material in which the crushed chilly material is being stored and flowed to required destination, which food grade epoxy paint is necessary to protect metal? Or can we apply any epoxy paint available in the market?
