Cost Effective Plating of Carbon Steel for 25 Year Corrosion Resistance

I am developing a custom outdoor fastener that is a slight deviation from a more standard piece. I received a quote for it to be made in stainless steel, but it is cost prohibitive. The more standard fastener is made using zinc plated carbon steel. I need the fastener to provide at least 25 years of corrosion resistance. What coating could be used to provide this lifespan on Carbon Steel? It also needs to be able to carry a current.
