How to galvanize Mannesmann pipe

April 19, 2011

Hi
I want to know what is the best way to galvanize Mannesmann pipe.
now we burn the pipe by dipping it to zinc bath then put the pipe in acid and after that we galvanize the pipe.
Can you offer me better way?

Hi, Jarar.

You probably think your question is clear to everyone, but it isn't. Mannesmann is a company name, a brand name, but apparently it implies additional information to you. Are we to understand that this is pipe that is plastic lined, and you are using the molten zinc to burn off the plastic?

I think if we knew the size of the pipe, and whether the interior or exterior or both are lined, and what plastic they are lined with, people might have a suggestion. Thanks.
