Need Plating that Looks Like Lead

We are in the S.F. East Bay and have the following metal finishing question. We are manufacturing Automotive Battery Cable Lugs for Classic Cars, we currently have 100+ parts. We need to make them look like new or slightly aged LEAD. They are investment cast in White Bronze, they have been blasted, finished and tumbled to the desired surface finish, now they just need the correct color and sheen. The finish does not necessarily need to be able to withstand the heat of soldering, the cables will be factory staked.

Why not just lead plate them? Easy to do, inexpensive, and they will look just like aged lead in no time at all if you leave them outside in the elements for a week or so.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
