Hard Chromium Plating on Cast Steel

Hi!

I wanted to know whether which types of "Cast steels" are favoured for electrodeposition of hard chromium. sjm

HI!

Almost all types of CAST STEELS are Hard Chrome plated, how ever Steels with high carbon contents are difficult to plate, machined cast steels have good bonding properties normally same process as for extruded or drawn steel is employed
