Curing time before the tape test on paint



Dear Sir,
What is the recommended drying time after the final paint for the tape test for paint adhesion and what are the specification reference.

Arun,

You haven't given us a lot to go on. What paint system are we looking at (primer, top coat? If it is top coat is it polyurethane, epoxy acrylic...?)

Is this paint for commercial, automotive or aerospace/space application? Is it for internal or external use? What is the substrate? Do you have any drawings or specifications to guide you and consequently us?

A bit more detail may get you the answer you require.
