Do galvanizers sell zinc ash?
ZINC ASH:
We are looking for Zinc Ash in the form of Powder with Zinc content : Minimum 60%, Chloride : 0.5% (Maximum) & Aluminum : 0.5 % (Maximum.
I have not been successful in finding a suitable source within USA. I see many Chinese bidders offering this item. Could any body help with the location of large producers of Zinc Ash in USA or Canada? I heard that many galvanizing plants sell this item.
This is required for agricultural needs to manufacture zinc sulphate.
Thank you for your assistance.

Virtually all hot dip galvanizers produce ash and most of them sell that ash. Common outlets result in it being used for UV stabilisation in rubber, (mainly for tyres); for zinc sulphate fertilizer (often for rice growing); and for cosmetics (as a filler/ bulking agent.).
If you need to buy ash, then you could approach almost any galvanizer and make an offer.

Sir:
You may wish to check the lead and nickel content of the zinc ash before you buy.
