Sodium Sulphocarbolate

I did some copper plating years ago, and used Sodium Sulphocarbolate as part of a plating solution. The outfit that I used to purchase from is no longer open. After hours of searching on the internet with my grandson, we were unable to find any use full information on this chemical. Is there any way to buy this substance in modern day America? If not, Is there a suitable replacement? I spent the first 40 years of my life in Milwaukee WI. Since moving to Mississippi, I have found industrial supplies much harder to come by.

Thank You,
