Suggestions for large 304 stainless steel sign

Hello, my question is this. Our hotel has had a sign made by a fabricator, it is a 304 stainless steel backing in an oval shape, 16 feet long by 5.5 feet high (in the middle). Our owner chose this fabricator because he was the cheapest, but he doesn't "finish" the stainless. We would prefer to apply a "swirl" or brush to it, any help would be greatly appreciated. The lettering is removable and is black anodized aluminum.

Swirl is easy to do. Use a rotary sander with an appropriate grit of wet and dry sandpaper. You might like the finish that you get from a dual action rotary sander as it produces less prominent swirls. Practice on the back side of the sign before you do the front. These are typically air powered and are available at most big box stores and most auto paint stores.

Well I suppose the cheap way would be to get an orbital sander or car buffer ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] and attach a Scotchbrite pad to it and swirl away.
