Pretreatment for PVC coating in refrigerator grid shelves


Hi,
we manufacture refrigerator grid shelves made of ms wire i.e iron. we coat it with PVC of high quality but now I want to start per treatment for it. I wanna know that is only iron phosphating will be enough to increase its life?......if not than kindly give me full details and procedure of pre treatment. I will highly appreciate it.
