Microporous nickel not meeting step test requirements-failing dubpernell
We plate for automotive exterior application-duplex nickel, microporous chrome. We're measuring 70-100mV on our particle nickel in the neg direction. Per ASTM B764-04, the part Ni should be in positive and be 0-30mV. Only measuring 2500 pores/cm2 after Dupbernell test and get star-dusting after CASS. Any help? thanks
