-----Recipes for Electropolishing Ti64 and Nitinol
We are trying to find the best method for electropolishing Ti64 and Nitinol on small dental products manufactured by Laser Deposition. We would prefer benign chemicals if that is possible.

Ed. note: while you're waiting for a response, if you use the search engine you'll see over a dozen threads about electropolishing nitinol, and a couple on electropolishing Ti64. Good luck.
Ken,
Benign chemicals are possible in case of nitinol electropolishing and some of titanium alloy types. For other titanium alloy the acid-based electrolytes work better on a long run. All technologies are tested in production lines and successfully implemented in United States and in Europe. These technologies are proprietary and require licensing. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in improving and simplifying your production process of medical parts.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
