Nickel plated brass bolts compared to stainless steel

Our supplier is using nickel plated brass bolts instead of stainless steel. Which is better for outdoor use near the salt air/water?

Hi, Sally.

If the sole issue is corrosion resistance, I'd bet on the stainless steel bolts.
