Is Zinc plating per ES-572, para 3.1.1.1.8, type 1 RoHS compliant?

I am an OEM manufacturer of miniature solenoids, some of which are shipped to Europe. I know that ES-572, para 3.1.1.1.8, type 2 is not RoHS compliant but I was under the impression that the Type 1 is. Can you clarify this for me? Many thanks.
