Rado Ceramic Coating

Rado is a European (I think) watch manufacturer that applies a ceramic coating to their watch bands and cases. the coating looks like polished metal, is highly reflective like chrome and is virtually scratch proof. I have a friend that has owned one for years and it looks brand new. Does anyone have any information on this process or know anyone who applies it? I haven't had much luck trying to contact Rado.

Rado is a swiss company and the ceramic watches and bands are made of actual pieces of ceramic held together with metal components which are hidden under and provide the hinges between the links.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
