Need pure lead plating on an Inconel vacuum seal

May 2, 2010

I have some Inconel seals, c-seals, that I need plated with pure lead. The purity is not critical. I have had these seals plated at a shop that does not do pure lead all the time and have had major issues with thickness, uniformity, and one batch with very poor adhesion. The seals are rectangular, approx. 3 inches by 2 inches, with circular c cross section, .063 inches high. The material is .010 inches thick, Inconel 718. These seals were plated at one time with lead and stripped. Please contact Doug Hawk
