Can you powder coat over a black oxide finish?
I have been doing some electrolytic rust removal and have been left with the black oxide on the previously rusty parts. Is it possible to powdercoat directly over the black oxide, or do I have to take it off first? I would like to leave it as it would not hurt and keeps a slight corrosion resistant layer under the powdercoat. Thanks.
