Is Zinc plating QQ-Z-325 Type I, Class 2 RoHS Compliant

Hello.

I would like to know if the following plating is RoHS compliant
Meaning does it use Cr+3(TriChromate) and NOT HexChromate(Cr+6).
Can I be sure?
Zinc plating QQ-Z-325 Type I, Class 2.

Hi, Eran. What I would do is require a certification from the supplier that the parts they supplied, or the plating process they applied, was QQ-Z-325 Type 1, Class2, and RoHS-compliant. People further up the line may due periodic checks of samples as a due diligence measure, but I don't think you can let the plater pass the responsibility for RoHS compliance up the line.
