How to set up Hard Anodizing line
April 4, 2010
I want to set up a hard anodizing line.
what are the steps please?
and what are your recommendations?

Hi, Ahmad. My recommendation would be to get a look at a copy of Robert Probert's
"Aluminum How-To" and Sheasby & Pinner's
"The Surface Treatment and Finishing of Aluminum and its Alloys". Even still, I would not start designing a hard anodizing installation without retaining an experienced Consultant. Good luck.

In addition to the books that Ted mentioned, I like Arthur Brace's
The Technology of Anodizing Aluminum
[on
AbeBooks, on
Amazon, on
eBay" (affil links)affil links]. It is more focused on the plant engineering aspects of putting a line together. You should really have all three in your library (and a consultant).
