Q. We have lead coated copper roof installed and after one year from installation lead coated copper get brownish from cedar shingle roof. Is there anything we can do to remove this stain and then is there any product to apply on the lead coated copper to protect from staining.
Please advise.

A. With all the environmental warnings and doing away with lead, why on earth would anyone coat copper with lead, especially on a roof. Acid rain, lead leaching into the ground, I'm sure you get the picture. I can't give you an answer unless you know exactly what you have here.
