Testing to tell Geomet Vs Dacromet

March 10, 2010

From the past, I am getting Dacromet coated parts from our supplier, Now I am converted in to Geomet coating for the RoHS reason, I am not able to see any appearance difference. I need to confirm the parts are Dacromet or Geomet coated.

Any testing procedure is available to identify the coated parts are Geomet or Dacromet coated?
