-----HELP! The fumes are so strong!
Plumbers recently (Tues/Wed) used hydrochloric acid to clean the pipes to our shower on the second floor. I didn't notice the smell yesterday, but today when I came home the smell was very, very strong! How long does it take for them to dissipate? And what can I do since the furnace is running and I think that doesn't help it.

Hi, Dorothy. Fumes that are that strong are going to ruin all your stainless steel and chrome, if they don't harm you. Open the window and get fans going.
