Need anti impression lacquer for aluminum after chrome passivation process
Dear sir,
I am doing colourless chrome passivation on aluminum 6082 grade.
I am getting very good finish , but it is susceptible to thumb impression and gets dirty soon.

please suggest the type of lacquer / clear coat , which will give anti-impression finish without affecting conductivity.
thanks,

Dear Mr. Gunjal,
lacquer coating the colorless chromate solution defeats the entire purpose of the chromate conversion process. lacquering it will make the part insulative rather than conductive.
I make my people use white cotton handgloves while handling such articles and also suggest my clients to do the same at their end. There is no substitute for careful handling in the case of such processed articles. I hope this helps.
