-----Using Extracted Licorice in hot dip galvanizing
February 4, 2010
Dear Sir
We believe that the extracted licorice is being used in the electrowinning process to trap the mist and the fumes and increasing the acid efficiency by creating a layer of bubbles as the bubble of licorice explode horizontally not vertically and with that there will be more bubbles.
My question is, can we use the licorice in hot dipping galvanizing for the same purpose of the electrowinning process.
Thanks and regards

Hi, Emad. Are you sure about that use in electrowinning? I thought licorice was used as a plating brightener, not as a fume suppressant.
