Cleaning rust on iron gates

is it suggested to clean rust on iron gates with domestic acid?

Hi, Prashanth. No. Remove the heaviest rust by blasting, pressure washing, or sanding. Then use a rust converter [on eBay or Amazon] . Good luck.
