Can zinc plating plus chromate on SPCC peel off or flake?

WE are a speaker metal componet part supplier.we do metal stamping on SPCC and SPHC materials and then do zinc chromate (trivalent) on those speaker frames ,plate washers and Yoke, Magnet covers.recently we received a claim from one of our customers that they found our speaker frames rusty at speaker terminal fixing portion and when they do Nichibah Tape test, the plating layer peel off.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
