Are unused M-2 Gold Salts saleable?

My grandfather who was into gold plating gave me a jar of Bright Gold M-2 Salts still sealed. Is this something of value that could be sold off for gold or should be discarded. The cover of the label says "gold content 1 oz troy".

Hi, Adam. List it on eBay or call a local gold plater or jeweler. If it is indeed unused and has a troy ounce of gold, it should be worth what an ounce of gold is worth.
