Polyurethane Painting

I want to know if polyurethane paint is adequate for finishing aluminium profiles in architectural applications. And which standard could be applied to his control. Thanks for your help

Mr Segovia
Depending on your pretreatment process and application polyurethanes can be and are very suitable for aluminum. As far as standards there are various ones that are product specific.I am most familiar with AAMA 605.2.85 which relates to coatings on architectural extrusions and panels. I hope this helps.
