Stainless Steel and Chrome Refinishing

(2000)

Help! I used an acid wash to clean my saltillo tile. Although I tried to not get it anywhere I have several spots on my chrome faucet and stainless steel stove top. There not bad just a little discolored. Is there a way to refinish?

Really fine Scotchbrite will work well, wet with water and lots of light pressure. A polish called SimiChrome [linked by editor to product info at Amazon] is outstanding. Comes in a tube like toothpaste.
