-----Specification MZZn8-TK?
Q. We're one of zinc electroplating service in Thailand and one of our customer asking us the specification of zinc die casting MZZn8-TK. My point of view is black passivation, but I would like someone tell us and ensure that I'm right.

A. Hi, Ars. Sorry, I've never seen such a spec, but the general ring of it sounds like a Japanese Standard or perhaps a Nissan specification.
Management consultants claim that the costliest yet easiest to rectify problem in nearly every situation is poor communication. Why can't you find out what the customer wants? Why are you being forced to guess about something so important? :-)
My guess is that this specification is a typographical error or multiple typographical errors, and that your customer wants something like MFZn8-TC. But to proceed based on such assumptions would be foolish. Good luck, but talk to your customer.
