WANT TO HAVE DETAILS OF PLATING ON PLASTIC WITH BASIC CHEMICALS NOT FROM PROPRIETARY CHEMICALS

SHAHID LATIF QURESHI
- LAHORE, PAKISTAN

It's fine to want that, Mr. Qureshi--but's it's something else to actually obtain it :-)

The major suppliers have invested tens of millions of dollars perfecting processes for plating-on-plastic, and naturally they maintain this information as closely held trade secrets. You can find general info about the subject in the journals of the 1950's, but even if you are able to apply it all, you will still be decades behind the times. One more thing is that these processes may not be restricted to simple mixing of chemicals, but sometimes require synthesis operations.
