My clothes are grey due to paint worn off of dryer

I recently noticed the clothes out of the dryer are turning grey. The cause seems to be the paint on the inside of the door has worn away, exposing the metal, turning the clothes
grey. Is there a paint that will withstand the heat of the dryer and that will not make the clothes smell like paint?

Hi, Lisa. There are high temperature paints, for sure. Start with a treatment with naval jelly [on eBay or Amazon] , then a Self-etching primer [on eBay or Amazon] , then a white appliance enamel or high temperature paint [affil links].

But the cause of the gray clothes may not be the missing paint :-)
